High reliability
- Wet cylinder liners, frame-supported drum-shaped block and one-piece cast-iron cylinder head; pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft and bearing shells are newly designed. B10 life of up to 800,000 km.
- Developed to heavy-truck reliability requirements, with Weichai's heavy-truck suppliers.
- Block and cylinder head are cast and machined by Weichai for high consistency.

- Rear gear train, enclosed flywheel housing, plastic cylinder-head cover and second-order balancer reduce noise to 92 dB(A) under typical operating conditions.
