Introduction
A new-generation engine on Weichai's high-end platform, with outputs from 125 to 147 kW in Euro V/VI versions, used in N2 and N3 light-duty trucks.
Features
High reliability
- Wet cylinder liners, deep-skirt drum-shaped block and one-piece cast-iron cylinder head; pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, bearings and other moving parts are newly designed. B10 life of 800,000 km.
- Developed to heavy-truck reliability requirements, with Weichai's heavy-truck suppliers.
- Block and cylinder head are cast and machined by Weichai for high consistency.
Low noise and vibration
- Rear gear train, enclosed flywheel housing, plastic cylinder-head cover and second-order balancer reduce noise to as low as 92 dB(A) under typical operating conditions.
Low fuel consumption
- Minimum fuel consumption of 195 g/(kW·h).
Powerful
- 125-147 kW across the series, with torque up to 750 N·m at 1,300-1,700 r/min.
Adaptability
- Modular design with compactly arranged accessories and a wide choice of options for a broad range of applications.
- Filters, alternators, starters and other parts are shared across the N platform, which simplifies maintenance.
