A new-generation engine on Weichai's high-end platform, with outputs from 110 to 118 kW, meeting the Euro VI standard, used in N2 light-duty trucks.
Features
High reliability
- Deep-skirt drum-shaped block and one-piece cast-iron cylinder head; pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, bearings and other moving parts are newly designed. B10 life of 800,000 km.
- Developed to heavy-truck reliability requirements, with Weichai's heavy-truck suppliers.
- Block and cylinder head are cast and machined by Weichai for high consistency.
Low noise and vibration
- Noise-reducing gear cover, cylinder-head cover and enclosed flywheel housing limit radiated noise.
Low fuel consumption
- Minimum fuel consumption of 199 g/kW·h.
Powerful
- 110-118 kW across the series, with torque up to 450 N·m at 1,400-2,200 r/min.
Adaptability
- Modular design with compactly arranged accessories and a wide choice of options for a broad range of applications.
- Filters, alternators, starters and other parts are shared across the N platform, which simplifies maintenance.
