Introduction
A new-generation engine on Weichai's high-end platform, with outputs from 88 to 96 kW in Euro V/VI versions, used in standard-load light-duty trucks.
Features
High reliability
- Deep-skirt drum-shaped block and one-piece cast-iron cylinder head; pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, bearings and other moving parts are newly designed. B10 life of 800,000 km.
- Developed to heavy-truck reliability requirements, with Weichai's heavy-truck suppliers.
- Block and cylinder head are cast and machined by Weichai for high consistency.
Low noise and vibration
- Noise-reducing gear cover, cylinder-head cover and enclosed flywheel housing limit radiated noise.
- Precisely calibrated multiple injection brings noise close to passenger-car levels, with idle noise as low as 74 dB(A).
Low fuel consumption
- Combustion technology and a high-efficiency turbocharger improve combustion efficiency.
- Minimum fuel consumption as low as 200 g/(kW·h).
Powerful
- 88-96 kW across the series, with torque up to 380 N·m at 1,500-2,400 r/min.
Adaptability
- Modular design with compactly arranged accessories and a wide choice of options for a broad range of applications.
